The Learning Center will host Monday night computer classes covering the topics of Internet and Email. The classes are free and dinner will be provided. Classes will run each Monday from April 4-May 16 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Please email Ryann at rmitchell@bhamlearning.org or call 205-983-7320 for more information.
The Learning Center will have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning January 25 and wrapping up March 17. At the end of each semester, students who have met attendance requirements retake our assessments so we can determine their academic growth.

People who are interested in serving at The Learning Center are invited to come visit with our staff to discuss their interests and our volunteer needs. If you would like to attend Volunteer Orientation, please complete the form found here.
We like to do an orientation and interview process with all of our new students so we can ensure they are prepared to start classes. At Orientation, we discuss our program, expectations, and how things work. The interview time gives our staff an opportunity to get to know new students and find out if there are ways we can assist outside of The Learning Center so they will be able to focus on their academics when they are expected to be here.
